EEK!
I am in full blown party planning mode…again. I have so much on my mind these days that I can’t seem to get 1 thing done!
My twins are turning 6 in a few weeks and this is seriously the LAST big birthday party I’m throwing them until they are 10! Yeesh!
Right after their birthday party comes Teacher Appreciation Day (May 8). Do I get crafty or do I just spend the money on other people’s craftiness? Do I get the whole class involved or not? Decisions…
Mother’s Day. Sometimes I wish this day did not exist…truthfully, I wish this ever year! Every year, I tell myself that I will buy my mother and mother-in-law’s gifts waaaay before the actual day b/c the twin’s birthday lands right around Mother’s Day and with all the party planning, I never have the time or energy to get thoughtful gifts. Well, I have failed again this year. I’ve got nothing. No ideas. No gifts. Nada.
In 4 months or so, my baby will be turning 1. And if you remember lil sis’ posts about her daughters’ 1st birthday parties (here and here), you can imagine how I am feeling.
What is going on??? Yes, I have to remind myself to take deep breaths and do as much as I can when the baby naps. It doesn’t help that lil sis is at work and I can’t run ideas past her. This whole texting business is getting out of control! haha!
I’ll leave you with some of my stress…and a cute idea to show your child’s teacher how much you appreciate him/her.

Here’s to hoping I get through the month of May in one piece…

from a teacher’s perspective… the best gift is a gift card ($) and a nice hand written note expressing your appreciation.
that should take some stress off of shopping for you.
