Photo of a Day: Something You’ve Made

The twins are learning about insects and their home project is to create a 3-dimensional insect using materials found in the home. I immediately thought of sewing something (the instructions did state that parents should help) but then lil sis suggested paper mâché. After spending a good few hours researching how to make paper mâché, paper mache pulp, paper mâché paste, how to create a base/form, I’m hoping that I’ve created something my daughter can mâché without it falling apart!

Now on to making son’s stag beetle!
