Party Planning: Styling
Photography: booked!
Event styling: booked! The theme for my twin’s 1st birthday party was Noah’s Ark. For baby #3, I am going very traditional. I am in love with this look.
When attending a Korean 1st birthday party, you can expect to find a head table (Korean = dohl sang), a picture table (where you showcase your baby’s 1st year), and a sign-in table (similar to what you would find at a wedding). The dohl sang is the main centerpiece and what sets your theme. Although I’m very much a Korean-American, there is something about this look that I can really appreciate. And despite my baby not being full Korean, my husband fully supports the theme
This is what the event stylist takes care of. I thought for a split second of doing all 3 tables on my own but dropped that idea real quick! haha! With 3 kids to dress and the venue being 25 miles away, there is no way my husband could handle the pressure of being a single parent while I was at the venue setting up. Plus the less stress I have, the more we’ll enjoy the party!
I’ve got outfits to coordinate for our family shoot, invites to think of, and party favors to put together. 2 months left! Eeek!
