It’s crunch time! I’ve got cake, slideshow, favors, clothing on my mind. Baby daughter’s birthday (in Korean: dol) is in 24 days and I NEED to get busy.
The restaurant we booked provides dessert but I am opting to serve my own cake…sheet cake, that is! If money was no object, I would love to have a 2-3 tier cake with a girl wearing a hanbok as the centerpiece. I seriously thought of making my own faux cake but time is not on my side. And I have never worked with fondant and 24 days doesn’t give me enough time to become an expert SO you can you imagine how ecstatic I was when I came across this…

Oh. my. goodness! Absolutely beautiful! Looks exactly like a dol go im! Can you believe this is an actual cake?! Because baby dol’s decor is going to be very traditional, I didn’t know where I could place dol go im towers. Ultimately, I decided to not include them but as a faux cake…perfect!
