Snippets of the weekend
Labor day weekend flew by so quickly. It was all about family time! We celebrated my niece’s birthday, and big sis did a great job planning her party! My baby niece did so well and was in great spirits the entire time.
We attended another birthday party for Lila’s friend, and it was the cutest fireman themed party!
Spent the afternoon at Knott’s, and the girls got their face painted. Both girls this time around! Tabi was totally loving the fact she got her face done up just like big sis. I realized I’m at THAT point where I’ll have to buy two of everything. Little one can’t get left out anymore because she’s not so little anymore!
On Labor Day, we made a trip to Pretend City Museum. I love that place, and it’s especially perfect for their age range.
Hands on play!
Out of all the stations, she spent the majority of her time in the library. Checking out books, reading books, pretending to be the teacher. Ever since she’s been going to school, she’s doing a lot of role playing. Can you see their Little Golden Book collection!? I just love the timeless LGB books! I kinda want to buy all the books for the girls, and then they can hand them down to their children.
Hmm…books or shoes? Now that summer is starting to come to an end, all I’ve been getting in the mail and email are ads and catalogs of booties and cute sweater dresses. Sorry totally switching topics but this has been on my mind lately!
I need to get on the bootie bandwagon for the fall, and Steve Madden is having a 30% off sale – code is BOOT30! My top 3…
