What To Expect…Book Giveaways!

We are so excited to share that we have teamed up with What To Expect to give away a set of What to Expect When You’re Expecting, What to Expect The First Year, and What to Expect The Second Year to 2 lucky readers! As mentioned before, they are awesome books to have as references.

What I love about the books is how each chapter is so organized! Love how they talk about the growth of the baby in utero (in When You’re Expecting) to what your baby will be doing outside of utero (in The First Year). Consistent format and you know what to expect in each chapter. The book is thorough in regards to bringing up all the concerns a first time mommy may have and answers all those questions you may not want to search for on the internet. Since development varies  so much thereafter, The Second Year is organized into chapters that reference sleeping, feeding, behaviors, discipline, and all the other things you may wonder about now that your baby is officially a toddler. It is no wonder that their books are one of America’s bestselling parenting books.

On the flip side, I can see that reading about all the what-ifs can scare a first time mommy. I do feel, however, that the books are not written to scare, intimidate, or talk down to parents. The author, Heidi Murkoff, provides a myriad of possible situations of what to expect, just as the titles states.
