I knew immediately when I saw this

that this is how I am going to decorate the twins’ 7th birthday party. Isn’t it so purty?! It’s tough trying to come up with a unisex theme especially when my son is very much a boy and my daughter is such a girlie girl. My only concern is that this decoration is going to be hung on my patio in the backyard and if it took 2 people 4 hours to set this up, how will 1 person do it in 1 hour (the time I allotted for decorations on the day of)?!?! that is the question…sigh…So my next thought is to set it up at night but then I’ll risk the morning dew possible ruining it. The things I ponder…
This is the 2nd birthday party we are having at our house and I’m making it a drop off only party. Yikes! I’m a lil scared but I’m trying to cover all my bases to make sure the kids are not bored and running amuck in my house
So the invites are almost done and then I’ll be ready to go into full-blown party planning mode. It’s gonna be a stressful time indeed…with the party, teacher appreciation week, Mother’s day, and our big vacation coming up…all occurring in a matter of a 10 day span. I see loads of checklists in my near future!
I have finally got all the dollies up in the shop and will be pulling down the custom doll listings until about June-July. Thanks for stopping by!

I don’t make too many boy dolls but when I do, I try to make them extra special. He is currently in the shop and will be the last doll I sew this year.

In case you’re wondering…Alex is doing well The kids love him and we’ve overheard my oldest daughter talking to him and of course, tattling on her brother to him. Now, if only mommy could remember to move him every night! There have a been a few times very late at night or super early in the morning that I panic b/c I have forgotten to move him! Not to mention, my son recently lost his tooth so I was on double duty! Definitely a busy time!
In the midst of all this craziness, I have been working on a picture frame gallery for one of my walls. I am sooooo close to completing it. It has been in the works for some time and I just placed the order for my pictures last time. Yippee! Can’t wait to show you all the planning it took to get it completed! haha.

I’ve been busy crafting the past 3 weeks and this here is one of my final projects. If you’ve been reading our blog for some time, you know that this is one of my favorite handmade items to gift. While time consuimg, it is something that is greatly appreciated by the recipient. I’m almost done and because I don’t know if this particular girlfriend reads the blog, I will hold off on showing you the completed project until after her baby shower.
The shop has been updated! Hooray for new lil sisters! We are hoping to have 1 more shop update before Christmas so fingers crossed! There will be 1 lil brother for sure. Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday! Thanks for stopping by!

I was packing up an order for the shop last night when I found this lil gal!
Hey, lil sis, where’d you come from?! ugh…I must have forgotten about listing her in the shop in the midst of craziness, aka my life! haha! She is in the shop now.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about my role as a mommy. If you’ve been reading our blog for awhile, you’ll know that my twins and I have been attached at the hips since birth! It’s the road I chose and would not change one thing. But in the midst of raising these munchkins in this manner, I feel every bit of their dissapointment and success as if it was my own. My husband has no understanding of this…so I thought…but deep down inside, he understands. Afterall, our children are a reflection of us. So what to do when children are so resilient and can move on without thinking twice and you get “stuck” in the moment… Sheesh! and they’re only in 1st grade! What will I do when they have their 1st heartbreak? when they get their 1st “F” (hoping this will never happen!). if they don’t get into their college of choice? I’m the person who feels so sorry for the losing team during NBA playoffs…like I can’t bear to watch the end b/c of the suspense and I can’t bear to look at the faces of the losing team. Oy! I can feel it…my kids will age me much quicker than desired

Party planning continues at this house. Every free minute is being spent on thinking of things I’m missing or needing to work on. I will probably be missing from the blog till after baby girl’s birthday party…which is in 10 days! I hope to return to the blog with lots of pictures and tutorials! Until then…

New! I recently finished up this lil gal and she’s wearing her new panda hat! I’m hoping she makes it into the shop some time this week.
I just started my faux cake last night and after getting through 6 rows of Sixlets, I realized I made a terrible, horrible mistake! After 3 hours of gluing, plenty of curse words, I tore. the. whole. thing. up!!! So while the kids are at their swim class and baby is napping, I will be a hot mess starting ALL over! God help me.
