Love this picture! It is sooo me. Checklists. Notes. Post-its. Calendar. Both of these are always nearby. Despite my iPhone, I still like my paper versions! In my defense, you gotta be pretty organized to manage 3 kids as a “single” parent. Organization for me ensures no kid goes to school with a dirty underwear, their projects are always turned in on time, the kids don’t go hungry, the husband has clean dress shirts to wear, we never miss appointments, our bills get paid on time (remember, I like paper versions!). An organized mommy = a well run family! 
I thoroughly enjoyed blogging my Instagram pictures but I must say this frequent blogging is lots of work! Kudos to those bloggers who do it daily!

Not sure if you can see the numbers at the bottom of her drawing, but it says 5/21/2012. I helped her write the date, but everything else is the making of my 3 year old. We are practicing her last name, which is a toughie for her. I love the art work she brings back from school. Most of it gets thrown into the trash (bad mom), but I hang a lot of it in her room. I especially like this one because she said it was for just for me – her idea of a pretty rainbow. Had to put this in a frame on my bookshelf. I kinda like the way it looks.

It’s It, the ice cream that I stayed away from for a couple months. I’m treating myself to it this wknd though since the wedding is over!
Vanilla ice cream, 2 oatmeal cookies, dipped in chocolate coating!

Cherries on steroids?
I bought these cherries at my local supermarket. Almost every one has a growth – another cherry growing on top of the other. Unusual but they’re still tasty!

The kids and I have waited for our lemon tree to produce something…anything…and we just discovered some itty bitty lemons on our tree!!! We planted this tree years ago and it was barren for some time. Last year, it gave me 4 lemons. Today we counted 5! We’ve got a winner!

One of my fave apps…Waze. Real time traffic updates from other drivers on the road just like me trying to get to our destination. So incredible to think apps like this exist. I check this every morning to get my ETA.
